The Public Information Research Organisation

Parliament Oak Sherwood Forest
Welcome to our blog. We are actively involved with a number of different organisations who have interests in expanding the uses and interests relating to woodlands and forests. These interests include the history and heritage of woodlands as well as their sustainable management. Our ongoing activities include public involvement in the creation of biodivesity and habitats, the support of rural crafts and woodmanship and the promotion of woodland landscape investigation and appreciation. Information on individual trees and their place in our heritage is where we often start our appreciation of the way our history and our landscape fits together. (more to follow)
